Contest Rules
Welcome to the Manda Publisher’s Best Author Award 2024 Contest! We are excited to recognise and celebrate outstanding authors and their works. Please carefully review the following contest rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.
1. Eligibility
– The contest is open to authors worldwide.
– Participants must have a book that is already published with a valid ISBN.
– The content in the book must be original and written solely by the author.
– The book must be available for purchase on Amazon.
– Anthologies are not eligible for the award. Author must have published a solo book.
2. Submission Guidelines
– Authors must submit their entries by 20 August 2024.
– Entries should include:
- The book’s title.
- The ISBN number.
- Genre
- Publisher of the book.
- A brief synopsis of the book (up to 500 words).
- A link to the book’s listing on Amazon.
- The author’s contact information (name, email, and phone number).
3. Contest Rules During Voting Period
– After participating a profile will be created and shared with the author where audience can vote for the author.
– Authors must actively promote their profile to gather votes till 30 August.
– Organizers will share a post of the nomination with the author.
– Authors are required to repost the nomination post on their own Instagram account by collaborating with the organizer’s account.
– Authors should use their social media channels and networks to encourage maximum voting.
– Votes can be collected through the official voting platform specified by the organizer.
4. Judging Process
Entries will be judged based on:
– Number of votes received during the voting period.
– Originality and creativity of the content.
– Quality of writing and storytelling.
– Overall impact and contribution to the genre or field.
– Reader reviews and ratings on Amazon.
5. Prizes
The winner will receive the Best Author Award, which includes:
– A certificate of recognition.
– A Best Author Award Trophy.
– Appreciation certificate will be shared with all the participants.
6. Winner Announcement
– There will be six winners selected across different genres.
– Two awards are reserved specifically for authors published by Manda Publishers
– The winner will be announced on 15 September, via our website and social media channels.
– The winner will be notified directly via email.
7. General Conditions
– By entering the contest, participants agree to abide by all contest rules and decisions of the judges.
– Participants grant the contest organizers the right to use their name, likeness, and book details for promotional purposes.
– The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the rules.
