Modi Ji suggested that India must not do away with the necessities of life, especially Education. It was also when the first draft of India’s contribution was referred, that he tore it off and said that it did not contain anything about Universal Education System in Rural India and Tribal India. Modi Ji Dream of Atma-Nirbhar Bharat only Possible through Education. After Independence, the Indian Government took initiatives to transform the Indian society. The government launched various programs policies and plans for the welfare of the weaker and marginalized section of society in the field of Education, Health, Rural Development, Technological Advancement, etc., In the field of Education, the government launched an initiative, but it was unable to reach the grassroots levels and it was not able to generate job opportunities, rather it created the problem of Unemploy-ment, Distress and Relative Deprivation against the state.

Rakesh Rai, B.A. (Hons) Sociology, M.A. Sociology, UGC NET/JRF, PhD in Sociology, is currently Work as Professor and Dean, School of Social Sciences, The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam .Earlier he has taught at Amity University, Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi), Glocal University, BITS Pilani as a faculty. His areas of specialization include but are not limited to, social movements, Sociology of Law, Industrial Sociology and Indian sociology.
