Sociology for learners vol 2

‘The textbook Sociology for Learners Volume II (Based on New Education Policy 2020) was designed to meet the demands placed on the study of sociology as a result of NEP 2020. ‘The primary goal of developing this book was to introduce new students to the fundamentals of sociology, the majority of whom were coming from other interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary fields. There are twenty-two chapters in the book, and they cover all of the mandatory and elective sociology topics listed in the NEP 2020, such as Classical and Advanced Sociological Thinkers, Indian Social Thinkers, Sociology of Development, Astrosociology, Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Law, Sociology of Organization and Disorganization, Gender and Sexuality, Tribal communities, Economic and Political System, Sociology of Media, Welfare Sociology, Migration and Demography, and many more. This textbook makes an effort to address both conventional and contemporary sociological concerns. It includes writing from authors with a variety of educational backgrounds.
