Born on 2nd February 1950 in Patna, Bihar, he pursued his academic journey with distinction, earning a B.S.C followed by L.L.B. With a long and respected career in the State Bank of India, R.K. Sarswati retired as a Branch Manager. It was only after retirement that he began exploring the world of poetry a pursuit that soon became a heartfelt expression of his inner world.
